Tiny House Pallet Wall
A couple weeks ago i posted an alternative concept for a tiny house built from shipping pallets that simply used half pallets (24? by 40?) as building blocks to form walls. i chose 24-inch walls for that first post because they can be cut from 2-way and 4-way pallets without any waste.. I started working in the tiny house bathroom using pallet wood on the walls. at first i was not sure how it would look but after i got a few board up there it looked quite nice so i kept going.. This cabin, at 12' by 12', stands as a great little hunting, guest, or weekending cabin or cottage, or could potentially be used/converted into a tiny house for full time living..
Pallet building is a hot topic and so the next few blog posts will explore various aspects of building with pallets from entire houses, to interior pallet walls, to pallet wall cladding. over 4 billion pallets are currently in use, so this is an abundant, easily obtained and usually free resource.. I just posted a complete summary of my weekend working on the tiny free house on my project blog.but in a nutshell i spent two days building the floor out of pallets and got some pallets up for the walls.. Once you have a lot of pallet planks, just load them on a trolley or on a rolling cart and just shift them to place where you want to install a whole shed or a tiny outdoor house! first of all the whole pallet boards of equal dimensions have been targeted to build up the primary base containing the wooden floor and side walls!.
